I thank the universe that gave you
a place to be

formed your body from the stars

( a perfect stillness

river of poetry that you are )

we walked
on the trail

you asked me
the questions

only buddhas can answer

They gave us our paradise
we squandered it on wishes

we are alive in the space our
souls blended
